Former Super Falcons head coach, Sam Okpodu believes the Super Eagles has a good chance of making us proud on Monday against Sweden; when they start their title campaign at the FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. Okpodu said:
"Sweden have been consistent as a result of sound programme and structure in place over the period. This is quite opposite in our own case but we have abundant talent but no programme as well as structure. However, I believe Falcons can go in there to make all of us proud against Sweden. The encounter is certain to be tough but if they get their acts perfectly right they won’t have difficulties handling the side. The first match is quite key as good result in the clash will boost their morale in the next matches against Australia and the United States of America. I think the stand good chance to surpass the quarterfinal best performance achieved in 1999."
Okpodu believes Falcons have abundant talents in its fold.
