Ten England fans were rushed to a hospital after a fire cracker incident at a bar near the FIFA Fan Fest in Sao Paulo. According to the Police, the attackers wore hoods, dark clothing and they were all Brazilian, the police have confirmed that 15 people have been arrested after the attack, which occurred in front of two bars located on Avenida Sao Joao around 1:30pm (5:30pm UK time)
After hurling mortars the rioters ripped up the flags of fans, the group then fled and tried to get on a bus before being caught by the police. Police reported that they seized six rockets, one brass knuckles, a dagger, a mouth guard for fighting and fireworks. The owner of Planet Fruit Reginaldo Pereira, said the action seemed to an attempted trawler to rob British supporters of their possessions.
It was very fast. They rushed into the area trying to hit everyone, breaking things up and throwing bombs. Every time we have big events this happens; Everybody ran inside the bar when things kicked off. I am from Northern Ireland, we have bombs there too.
