Top seed Richard Gasquet confimed his grass-court pedigree, easing into the semi-finals of the Wimbledon warm-up tournament with a 6-3 6-4 victory over Slovak Martin Klizan on Thursday. Richard, who has won the event twice before when it was held in Nottingham, will meet Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan in the last four. "I have won two matches, I served well and could play with power."- said Gasquet.
In the Women's competition, Angelique Keber of advanced into the semi-finals with a 6-2 6-1 win over Ekaterina Makarova but Caroline Wozniacki didn't have a comfortable win over Camila Giorgi 6-7 6-4 6-2 in two hours 35 minutes. According to eight seed "It was a really tough match, she hits the ball very hard and flat and has some good serves."
