Xavi Hernandez to leave Barcelona


According to the reports in Spain, Xavi Hernandez has decided to leave Barcelona and his expected to make an announcement soon and he will be the third Barca captain to leave this summer, as Carlos Puyol has retired and Victor Valdes contract is to expire. Cesc Fabregas' has once stated earlier on that Xavi and Puyol will be leaving the Catalans soon as they both want to stay close to their family.
When he returns from a disappointing 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Xavi and Barcelona will hold a joint press conference, where he is expected to say his farewell and explain the reasons behind his decision. Although, it has been widely reported that, Xavi has decided to move on because he know he will not be a consistent starter under his former teammate and new manager, Luis Enrique, who has already filled his role with the transfer of Sevilla's Ivan Rakitic.
