Greer 32, who was released by the New Orleans Saints in February told ESPN, he isn't pursuing any opportunities to return to NFL right now and that his goal is on rehabbing his knee. The veteran corner-back suffered a devastating knee injury last season, tearing his ACL, PL and total posterior lateral compartment in a week 11 win over 49ers.
In a statement via ESPN, Greer said "I think right now today, I'm very content with where I am, I'm very happy with being able to invest in my wife and children. But in the future, I'm sure that itch is gonna come, because it does for everybody. I guess it just depends if I scrath it or not."
Greer remains a free agent and at age 32 his career is very much in doubt
