Atletico Madrid: Will they be a strong title contender?

Atletico Madrid, the defending champions of LaLiga had a super amazing season last year. They not only won the league title, they got to the semi-finals of Copa del rey and ended season as the runner up for the UCL title. In the last season they went head-to-head with Barcelona and Real Madrid in the league, knocked out former UEFA league winners Chelsea and Barcelona. Now the question arises, will they be able to repeat such performance this season?

Though, they seem to always replace the void of any striker that leaves the club with another inborn ruthless striker but can they quickly replace the void Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois left and regroup for the oncoming season. Can they really produce a better performance than that of last season, though they they do play as a team. But with the loss of arguably the two most outstanding players in the team,they just might find it difficult to become a great title contender in the oncoming season.
