Concussion warnings not heeded again!

Argentina's Javier Mascherano suffered a head injury following a clash of head against Georginio Wijnaldum and was allowed to continue despite clearly looking dazed. This is the second time a player who suffered head injury was allowed to continue in this tournament.
Uruguay's Alvaro Perreira was knocked out in their match against England earlier in the tournament and was also permitted to continue playing. Mascherano after the collusion initially looked to be out cold with many suspecting he had sustained a concussion as he staggered and fell to the ground after the collusion.

Though FIFA were urged to change their rules by FIFPro, the players'  union but repeat of such at yesterday's game indicates the urging's seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Players, who have just suffered concussion are literally not the best people to Judge whether they should play or not, a view supported by Perreira's comments after his incident. "It was that moment with your adrenaline flowing in your body, Maybe without thinking what I really wanted to do was to help get the result."
