According to the Ferrari Formula 1 team boss Marco Mattiacci, F1 Ferrari needs a "360-degree" improvement before it can get back where it wants to be in the competitive order.
Mattiacci is in the process of restructuring the squad since taking over from Stefano Domenicali as a team principal in April. Mattiacci said:
"We need to improve at 360 degrees. It's not just the power units, the aerodynamic, (or) the chassis; it's the team, the car - it's a huge amount of work that needs to be done. I think you need to be careful to take decision based on just what happens during a weekend. We already identified the weakness and the strengths of the team. One weekend - for the worst or the best - is not going to change our idea of where we have to go. I'm confident about the team spirit we are building, our individual's strengths, and the plan we have."
The Scuderia has endured a difficult first half of the 2014 season.
