Fernando Torres to return to Atletico Madrid


Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have spent several days in London talking about Torres possible to return to Madrid, according to Europsort.
Chelsea are looking for a transfer fee of £13m for the player they signed from Liverpool for £50m four years ago but Atletico are trying to get a reduced fee. It is believed that Chelsea want's Atletico Madrid center-back Joao Miranda and are trying to negotiate a price for him within Torres discussions. Miranda's buy out clause is £23.7m and the clause will be triggered if Chelsea wants to buy the center-back. continue


Reports have it that Miguel Angel Gil Marin, Atletico's chief executive has spent the weekend in London discussing the transfer and will return to Madrid on Monday where he will continue negotiating the deal.
Chelsea have already signed Diego Costa, Felipe Luis and Courtois who has spent the last three seasons on loan with Atletico Madrid returned to Stamford this summer.
Fernando Torres who scored 91 goals in 244 games for Atletico before moving to Liverpool in 2007 is considered a Legend at Atletico after progressing from the clubs youth system to be their star striker.
