Louis Van Gaal hopes to create a greater unity within the squad by ordering his players to eat together everyday after training. There have been concerns that cliques had developed last season in the wake of Sir Alex Ferguson retirement and Van Gaal is determined that all players are pulling in the same direction. Van Gaal who understands the importance of team spirit in a team has made it mandatory for the United stars to dine with the club's youth player and coaching staff at Carrington at 1pm.
Van Gaal hopes the group in Manchester will be like this one.
