Everton boss, Martinez has assured fans on pre-season tour that Romelu Lukaku will sign for the Merseyside club this summer. The Belgian striker who spent last year on loan at Goodison Park, will return to Chelsea training on Wednesday amid talk of another move from Stamford Bridge.
Everton head of recruitment Ian Atkins told talkSport:
"Hopefully things can be sorted out, I think hes quite settled in his mind that he wants to come to Everton, and hopefully he'll be pulling on our blue shirt again next term. Our loan signings all did brillant for us last season. Gareth Barry has signed permanently now which is fantastic, and hopefully Lukaku will as well."
Lukaku is much aware that his chances in playing for Chelsea with the return of Drogba and the signing of Diego Costa is slim.
