Oriol Romeru renews his contact with Chelsea

Oriol Romeru has signed a three-year contract extension with Chelsea. Chelsea Fc announced that the 22-year-old who joined the Blues from Barcelona in 2011 is now tied to Stamford Bridge until 2017.

The midfielder spent his last season on loan at Valencia but made his first appearance for Chelsea in Wednesday night's friendly 5-0 win over Wycombe, since he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury at Sunderland in December 2012.
