Scolari leaves Brazil after providing them with their first back-to-back defeat on home soil since 1940

Brazilian media are reporting that Scolari has been sacked, though the news is yet to be confirmed. Scolari has left his post as Brazil manager after the host nation tasted their second World up defeat in five days. Brazil failed to restore pride on Saturday as they were beaten 3-0 by Holland in the third play-off.
After the defeat by Holland, Scolari met with the Brazilian Football Confederation that he would not be willing to extend his current deal, bringing his reign to an end after 18 months; in which he oversaw 19 wins, six draws and our defeats
