Swansea have confirmed the signing of Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero on a four year deal. The 24-year-old joins Swansea for a reported fee of £4m.
Montero struggled to hold down a first-team place after moving to Villarreal in 2009 and subsequently spent a number of seasons on loan with Levante and Real Betis before moving to Monarcas Morelia in Mexico.
While in Mexico, Montero became one of the league.
