Three French Rugby Stars require surgery after being attacked by Swords & Machetes


Three French rugby union stars have been hospitalized after being attacked with swords and machetes by a gang in Millau Southern France.
Reports suggest the attack occurred around 2am on Sunday and local police said the trio had been to a nightclub.
Their club Clermont Auvergne released a statement, stating that Pierre has deep cuts to his hip while Rougerie and Kayers have arm injuries, but none of the injuries are life threatening. "A group of players were assaulted by a dozen people carrying weapons including machetes, knives, swords. We are deeply shocked and outraged by these acts and will bring all the necessary support to local authorities who have launched a probe."
