Toni Kroos who starred in the Germany's World Cup triumph in Brazil has joined Real Madrid for a fee around £20m. Kross confirmed the move on Thursday while speaking to reporters that he would be joining "Madrid tomorrow or the day after."
Bayern Munich have also confirmed the midfielder's transfer to the Bernabeu has been formally agreed.
Bayern Chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said:
We thank Toni Kross for his time in Munich, we have achieved great success with him here. We wish him and his family all the best in Madrid and with Real.
