Frank Lampard, to join Man City on loan

Frank Lampard, who joined New York City FC this summer is on the verge of joining Manchester City on loan, according to reports.

With the Major League Soccer not starting until spring, there was speculation that Lampard would head to Melbourne City, the third club owned by the City Football Group, on a short term deal. 

But  recent reports claim that Lampard was set to move to Etihad on a six-month-deal to help Manuel Pellegrini's men in their defence of the Barclays Premier League title.

Lampard while unveiled in New York on July 24 admitted that he was going to keep fit, and how he wasn't going to keep fit wasn't clear to him at that time.
