Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will only strengthen Arsenal in the remaining days of the transfer window if an "exceptional" talent is available. Speaking to Arsenal's official website after the 1-0 win at Newcastle United, he said:
"We are open and we are in the transfer market. If we find an exceptional player in any sector, we will do it. At the moment I don't know if something will happen or not."
Fabricio Coloccini's own goal was enough to give the Gunners their second win of the Premier League season.
