Mayweather not having second thoughts regarding retirement

Floyd Mayweather Jr has insisted that he is looking forward to retiring from the sport after his Las Vegas contest with Andre Berto on September 12. Mayweather had earlier said he will try to reach 49 successive wins before retiring but there have been speculations that he will go for 50 wins.

However, he claims he is not having second thoughts regarding retirement,

"Nobody knows what the future holds, but right now, I'm cool and comfortable and having no second thoughts at all about retirement. I had a good career, I won every world title, but boxing is wear and tear on the body. It's time to hang 'em up. I'm looking forward to working with some up-and-coming kids, going on walks, and taking vacations," he said.
Opponent Berto enters the WBA Super and WBC welterweight title encounter with a record of 30 triumphs and three defeats.
