Thiago Alcantara extends contract with Bayern Munich until 2019

Thiago Alcantara has signed a new contract at Bayern Munich which lasts until 2019. The Spain international, whose time at the club has been beset by injury, joined Bayern from Barcelona in 2013. Thiago’s previous contract tied him to the club until 2017. He has been restricted to just 13 Bundesliga starts and has appeared as a substitute in the opening two matches of Bayern’s season.
