Lewis Hamilton has been cleared to use Mercedes' new Formula 1 engine in the Italian Grand Prix after the cause of team-mate Nico Rosberg's Saturday problem was identified. Mercedes used all seven of its tokens as part of an upgrade for this weekend, but the team was forced to revert to a previous spec on Rosberg's car after finding a problem following final practice at Monza.
But after overnight investigations at the track, the team concluded there was a leak in the cooling system and not a problem with the unit itself.
