Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has recorded the fastest time for the third successive practice session ahead of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix. The 2014 champion, who also leads this year's standings by 28 points, finished ahead of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and teammate Nico Rosberg.
Williams duo Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa ended the session in fourth and fifth place respectively, while Lotus representative Pastor Maldonado was sixth. Kimi Raikkonen finished in seventh position, while McLaren pair Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button were 13th and 14th respectively.
