Nigeria captain and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has pulled out of this Saturday's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania, according to SuperSport. See his reason after the cut
"Vincent was expected to arrive in the Abuja camp of the Super Eagles yesterday (Tuesday) but from what I have learned he has called in to ask for permission to be excluded from the game against Tanzania due to family reasons. So the team will now travel with the two goalkeepers currently in camp unless the coach decides to make a late call-up which I doubt will happen," a source reportedly told supersport.com sources.
The task of goalkeeping against Tanzania's Taifa Stars now falls on the one of Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme or Ikechukwu Ezenwa of Sunshine Stars.
