FC Taraba players hopeful to God that the State Government will pay their 11 months unpaid wages

Na wa o! FC Taraba players are hoping that God will touch the heart of the State Governor so that he will pay the players part of their 11-months unpaid wages.
FC Taraba goalkeeper Ikechukwu Obilo  admitted that they were being owed a backlog of 11-month unpaid wages and that the State Government have promised to pay part of it.
"They’ve promised us that by the grace of God this week, and the Governor has agreed to pay part of the back log of 11-month salary but we’re hopefully that God will touch his heart to do so," Obilo told footballlive.ng.
The club is currently one step above the bottom of the table with 30 points after 31 league matches.
