Wayne Rooney will miss England's Euro 2016 qualifier against Estonia at Wembley on Friday due to an injury, FA confirms. The Manchester United striker was expected to miss the penultimate qualifier after missing two training sessions due to a knock that he picked up while playing for the Red Devils.
In Rooney's absence, Chelsea defender Gary Cahill will lead the team out against Estonia wearing the captain's armband.
