Having felt each other out in the first 45 minutes of sparring, these two teams went at each other with everything they had in the second half.
The match saw four goals in the second half. Mario Götze gave Germany the lead in the 51st minute before Ghana turned the match on its head with strikes from Andre Ayew and Asamoah Gyan.
That's before the eternal Miroslav Klose evened the match in the 71st minute to ensure both teams ended with a deserved point.
Ghana sent the crowd into a frenzy and gave itself a deserved lead when Sulley Muntari found Gyan with a pass on the break, sending the latter in alone on goal. Gyan, who infamously missed the penalty against Uruguay, made no mistake this time, sliding the ball past Manuel Neuer to give the Africans the lead and a good reason to dance.
But it all came down to a draw, both teams scored equal goals (0-0), so both teams have to put allot into their next match especially Ghana who lost their first game
