It has been widely reported that Mesut Ozil gave away his £350,000 World Cup winnings to the children of Gaza but conflicting reports suggest that the winnings were given to charities in Brazil.
The International Business Times reported that Ozil had donated his winnings to the children of Gaza while Rob Harris of The Associated Press has since declared that Ozil's spokesman donated the money to projects in Brazil and not Gaza.
Whether he gave Gaza or Brazil...I say Kudos to such selfless act.
