The German Football Association President, Wolfgang Niersbach is confident and has no fear concerning Joachim Leow stepping down from his position.
Leow signed a two year extension to his contract prior to the World Cup but there have been rumors circulating that the manager is considering his own position after winning the just concludes tournament. However, Niersbach has dismissed the speculations and insists that he fully expects Leow to remain in charge up to Euro 2016 and beyond. continue
According to Kicker magazine Niersbach said at a meeting of a Bavarian Football Association:
"Everything has been cleared and it is obvious who will be sitting on our bench when we play Argentina again on September 3, we don't need to worry at all about the national team coach"After three previous near-misses, Joachim Leow was able to lift the World Cup and Niersbach believes that just like Spain did in 2010 and 2012, Leow will be able to lead Germany to the European Championships title in two years time.
