Nico Rosberg returned to the top of the time-sheets in today's final practice for his home German Grand Prix.
Mercedes again ended the session clear of the rest with Rosberg making a best time of one minute 17.779 seconds at Hockenheim. Despite the baking morning and track temperatures approaching 50 degrees Celsius, Rosberg was 0.601 faster than his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton who set the pace on Friday.
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, who won the last two races held at Hockenheim was third fastest and 0.605 slower than Rosberg.
Williams drivers Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas were fourth and fifth respectively, Kevin Magnussen sixth position, Red Bull Daniel Ricciardo made seventh.
Mercedes finished both Friday and Saturday's session with their drivers first and second.
