Alvaro Negredo out for up to three months after breaking his foot during pre-season friendly. The striker broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot during City's friendly with Hearts but has vowed to come back stronger than ever.
Negredo confirmed reports of his injury by posting an image of his injured foot with a statement which reads "I want to let you know that its going to be hard for the next months, I fractured my fifth metatarsal and will be out a few months. I will be stronger than ever".
