Didier scores hat-trick as Montreal Impact wins Chicago Fire 4-3

Just when you think Didier Drogba has nothing more to add to a squad, he goes to prove you wrong. Didier Drogba opened his account in style in the MLS, as the Ivorian hit man bagged a memorable hat-trick as the Montreal Impact claimed a 4-3 win over the Chicago Fire on Saturday night. Drogba broke the deadlock in the 27th minute with a clinical finish in the Chicago box, but the lead didn’t last long as Jeff Larentowicz equalised for the visitors. Wandrille Lefevre put the Impact back in front in the 43rd minute, but sixty seconds later the match was locked at 2-2 as Gilberto leveled for the Fire.

Kennedy Igboananike put the visitors ahead early in the second period, before Chelsea legend Drogba took over. Drogba equalised two minutes later from a quick restart and then gave his side the lead for good five minutes later with a header from close range.
