Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has sustained a bad knee injury while playing for Netherlands and could face a period of time out of action. Krul landed awkwardly on his knee and left the field in agony in 80th minute of Danny Blind's men's 2-1 victory over Kazakhstan in their Euro 2016 qualifying clash.
The Netherlands Blind told reporters: "It looks like a bad injury, Tim landed the wrong way." Newcastle could be forced to call on third-choice keeper Rob Elliot for their upcoming Premier League matches as backup Karl Darlow is out with a foot injury.
